CENERGY and LaneAnders

Postby laneanders » Thu Jun 27, 2013 1:32 pm

I received three products from CENERGY and Mr. Dead to log on this forum. I received them last week, but had familial issues I had to attend to.

HYPER INFUSION ORANGE
AMINO PLEX ORANGE DELIGHT
METABOLIC XTREME

I took both Hyper Infusion and Amino Plex the first time on Monday of this week.

I have been taking the Metabolic Xtreme for a few days at this point, so I can give a little bit more info than I could my first day on this product.

Here is some background information about me:

29 years old
5'9
230 lbs.
10% BF

Lifting Stats:
Bench: 475
Squat: 1000
Deadlift: 850
Standing OHP: 355

I am the strength and conditioning coordinator for the entire county (two high schools.) I work exclusively with athletes on a daily basis ranging from ages of 14 to 19 and including 11 sports.

I also work as a football coach, coaching both the running backs and defensive linemen.

I have previous experience with college and high school football, and I am currently a doctoral candidate.

I have been doing some type of training for the past 16 - 17 years, since the 8th grade. Having grown up with one uncle as a boxer and one uncle as a bodybuilder, I decided to take the road less traveled and do both.

This is my log:

Day 1 (6/24/13):

Metabolic Xtreme provided a surge of energy in conjunction with Ephedrine in the EC stack. I am currently cutting about 2% of BF to attempt to get down to single digits around 8-9%. This was a change from a previous product being used exclusively for the caffeine source, so I went from one source with caffeine and other ingredients (dunno if I should post the name or w/e) to Metabolic Xtreme. It has a variety of different ingredients in a proprietary blend, and I will be taking it twice a day along with Ephedrine HCL @ 24mg.

There was no crash from this product and the "surge" was minor, but noticeable I took it while driving from Tennessee to Florida overnight. So it was very beneficial, although I did take some other things with stimulants along the way I could definitely tell the little kick it gave.

Day 2 (6/25/13)

Metabolic Xtreme continued to provide the same sort of minor increase in energy levels, and hopefully will assist me in reducing my body fat %.

I added Amino Plex ORANGE DELIGHT today and mixed it with Hyper Infusion ORANGE.

I haven't tried either product solitary at this point, as I used them both pre-workout on Tuesday.

The smell for each product was minimal, although pleasant, you could only vaguely tell that it had an orange flavoring added because of the minor although pleasant odor each product emanates. You can definitely tell that Amino Plex is an amino product when you open the tub, it just has that smell, but it was still a pleasant smell despite the amino-esque addition.

The taste is a very important factor for me, because most of the supplements I take are pill. Those that I take which are powder simply must taste good and be effective. This isn't an issue at least at this point having only used the products for one day and taken together. The flavor was very decent, it was not amazing, it was also not gross, I didn't gag or choke or splutter, but I also didn't think hmm I should pour myself another glass of this. It was a thicker concoction when mixed together.

Mixability was phenomenal, it mixed perfectly, even the amino plex, which is very rare for an amino product of any kind. A few shakes and bam all dissolved. Although there was some minor settling after I left the combination of both products in the fridge overnight I shook them up again and the bulk of the product redistributed itself. There is a little bit of product stuck to the sides after finishing the drink.

I got some decent energy from these products, it wasn't overwhelming, and there was no crash so that is definitely a bonus.

The pump was great, which is most likely from the Agmatine - this is a staple product for me so I am used to the Agmatine pump. I felt no real tingles from the BA so that was good I guess, although I like the tingles to know that the BA is doing its job lately a lot of products containing BA have had no tingle effect for me so its good.

The endurance was good as well, although I didn't finish my entire workout. It wasn't because of the product, for the past few months I have been training other people in addition to my usual job duties. It just so happened this night my wife and sister-in-law both requested a session, so I devoted 1.5 hours to the gym and they took up most of it leaving me little time to complete an entire workout.

The focus was great which I love because I do get distracted pretty often when other people are talking to me, which is pretty much everyday.

There was no strength increase as I am currently in a hypertrophy training regime, after only recently finishing up another round of 5/3/1 I highly doubt any strength increase will be noticeable for the duration of this log. Although perhaps a PR at X number of reps.

Taste: 8/10
Smell: 8/10
Mixability: 9.5/10
Energy: 8/10
Endurance: 9/10
Focus: 10/10
Strength: N/A
Overall: 8.75

Overall a very good first use for all three products.

Day 3 (6/26/13)

I once again had the same reaction to Metabolic Xtreme, no change from this product at this point. Fairly effective for the energy purposes I don't notice a mood enhancement factor thus far, however, I did sweat more in the gym than normal - perhaps this could be the thermogenic factor.

Amino Plex + Hyper Infusion ORANGE DELIGHT + ORANGE

Taste hasn't changed for mixing the two products. I will take them individually today (6/27/13) but up to now I have used them together and the taste has been good. We'll see what changes when used individually.

Mixability is still amazing this time I didn't let the concoction sit in the fridge overnight so no settling occurred.

Thus far no complaints from any front. I had a great back and ab pump in the gym. I will give an update on scores if anything changes, that hasn't happened thus far.

Thanks guys. There are very few things I can say that I have done for as long as I have been lifting. I'm all natural thus far as well, but that may change as I get older. Just hard work and 3-5 days per week, every week for about 16 years.

Day 4 (6/27/13)

Now that the introductions are out of the way for the most part I can start including some of my workouts. I call some things different names than some of you may be familiar with. Currently on a cut eating at 3700 calories per day, with a 50/30/20 split for the macros.

Bicep and Tricep
BB curls 135x12x3
DB curls 50x12x3
Concentration curls 40x12x3
Angled curls 30x12x3
Incline curls 30x12x3
Overhead curls 25x12x3
Overhead tricep extensions 100x12x3
Tricep dips BW + 90x12x3
Tricep kickbacks 100x12x3
Close grip BP 225x12x3
Skullcrushers 95x12x3
Tricep Push Ups BW +90x12x3

HIIT cardio: 3x100 yard sprints at maximum speed with 90 second rest between each run. 4x40 yard sprints at maximum speed with 60 second rest between each run. 6x20 yard sprints at maximum speed with 45 second rest between each run. The rest periods generally include a very slow walking pace, although I did completely stop after the 100 yard sprints. I am not in amazing shape cardiovascularly speaking. Although I know how to get back there rapidly, and this process has only just begun.

Overall, a good workout, I have only recently changed my routine to include an arms only day. Previously arm work was included with another body part, such as tricep/chest or bicep/back. I've decided to start working more on isolation movements and hypertrophy as opposed to strength training, which I have predominantly been engaged in for the bulk of the past 1.5 decades. I've also only recently ended a bulk that lasted over 3 years, so this log comes at a different time for me than I am accustomed to in recent years.

The workout was fast paced and lasted less than 40 minutes. Approximate running time was 20 minutes.

The Metabolic Xtreme hasn't changed for me in regards to performance, still a moderate increase in energy levels, with no tapering off until the product completely loses its potency. Also no crash thus far.

Amino Plex Individual Taste ORANGE DELIGHT: 8.5/10
Hyper Infusion Individual Taste ORANGE: 7.5/10
Mixability for both products are fantastic. 9.5/10
Energy: 9.5/10
Endurance: 9/10
Focus: 10/10
Strength: N/A will not be rated as I am not strength training.

The Hyper Infusion does leave small particles attached to the side, but swish it and swallow it down straight. It takes care of most of that. The Amino Plex mixes AMAZINGLY well for an amino product. Fantastic.

The performance for each was not diminished, although the taste discrepancy between the two products is now obvious to me. They have the same basic flavor, but the Amino Plex just does it much better. It is very palatable, and even enjoyable. I would not say I enjoy the Hyper Infusion, but it also didn't make me vomit - so that is a definite plus. It could be better, but it tastes just fine I have had much much worse seriously.

The flavoring of the Amino Plex is very minute, and not overpowering at all. It is easy to sip on, and has a very light flavoring. I might buy this in the future for my BCAA needs (although I don't use BCAAs unless I am on a cut, which is very rare.)

Welcome- and great log so far. :D
I have to agree with NL and Stoic- awesome lifts! You slammed through that workout in less than 40 minutes? Not much rest time between sets, huh? Good work on the crapio- whoops!- I mean cardio too.

Good to read about the Amino Plex mixability. So many amino products leave one with gag-inducing sludge.

Glad to have you all aboard.

Yes the Amino Plex mixability is superb. You can see the little Leucine flakes at the top when you first mix it, and the rest of the ingredients mix without even being shaken. Then you shake it and the leucine dissipates into the water. You don't even really have to shake it again later after settling. It just stays flawlessly dissolved. The orange delight flavor is very mild too, you could easily sip on this without even really noticing you were drinking anything. I'm drinking some right now actually.

Yeah I hit that workout quickly, everything was a super-set, one bicep - one tricep workout. Finish 3 sets of each then move on to the next. The first 8 exercises were completed with basically no rest time, I had to start resting a little bit when I got to the dips with the additional weight I started getting slightly winded. I try to incorporate as much high intensity into these hypertrophy workouts as possible so I don't have to run as much. I will only be running about twice a week with 4 workouts per week.

I haven't hit the gym yet today, and I am not sure if I will or not my arms don't really want to straighten. This rarely happens to me. If I do hit the gym it will be a leg day.

Agreed. Quite generous but they need loggers and I volunteered to log these three specifically. Mr.Dead knows me from elsewhere, so he knew I would do the job. If I had wanted the test booster I probably could have logged it too, but I just don't need it right now.

Either way I did get in a workout today. It was brief because I took my 16 month old to a children's arcade shortly after.

Legs:

ATG Squat: 495x12x3 (These were literally to the ground)
Lunges: 125(each arm)x12x3
Leg Press: 685x15x5
Calf Press: 685x15x5
SLDL: 225x12x3
Glute Ham Raises: 90x12x3
Leg Extension: 140x12x3
Leg Curl: 140x12x3

This was all done at a very rapid pace with little to no rest time. Tomorrow will be shoulders and then I will take two days off to recover.

No changes in my ratings thus far, I did mix the Hyper Infusion with the Amino Plex again, simply for the sake of ingesting less water at once pre-workout. It is preferable to me at this point to mix them together as a pre-workout, mainly because the taste of Amino Plex although very weak (not in a bad way either as I've already pointed out just not super potent) helps to increase the flavor for the Hyper Infusion, which also isn't bad but just needs a little help.

I have since noticed a slight flagging of the energy portion evident from these products, but it might be just my body acclimating itself to them. Although, it might also be because my leg day was stupid fast tempo, and I thought I might kill over by the time I got to the last two exercises. We'll see what happens tomorrow during my favorite workout day of the week, my shoulders are easily the biggest thing on me, so this should be fun.

Shoulders and Abs:
BB Shrugs: 5x15x315
Front Raises: 3x15x35
Lat Raises: 3x15x35
Standing Overhead Press: 3x12x275
Arnold Press: 3x12x100 (each)
Reverse Flyes: 3x15x35
Clean and Jerk: 3x10x225
Car Drivers: 3 sets of 45 seconds
Hanging Windshield Wipers x60
Hanging Leg Raises x120
Pulse Ups x60
Superman Planks 2.5 minutes
3 points 3.5 minutes
Side Planks 1.5 minutes each
Cable Crunches 150x45

This was not a fast workout, it takes forever to fatigue my shoulders, so I took my time it lasted close to 1.5 hours. It was a good workout, abs are going to be destroyed tomorrow, my shoulders never really get tired though...I felt like I could keep going forever on shoulders. Always my favorite day.

Metabolic Xtreme: is showing itself to be adequate for what I need it for, and I haven't experienced any let down in energy while taking it to this point.

Hyper Infusion: shows a really good pump, today was a good test for it, as I compared it directly via some pictures taken with other pump products. It was a comparable pump to most other agmatine products, while lagging compared to a few other pump products, it still held fast as a top tier pump product. The energy aspect is moderate at best, but it doesn't fade as the workout comes to a close which is wonderful.

Amino Plex: what can you really say about an amino product aside from taste and mixability. It suits my needs being at a caloric deficit, I am again drinking some as I type this, the taste is fantastic and not overly sweet or potent.

No real changes in ratings thus far. Two days off for rest, and then back to the iron.

To be continued...

Good Lord, those are some crazy workouts! Several have said it, but I'll say it again: very impressive numbers. Nice to see someone who can move that kind of weight and still kill the cardio like a madman. Great work!

LA, at your bf% and the amount of cals you are consuming, you should get down to single digit bf% no problem. You have a ton of cals to work with. Both your weight training and cardio sessions are looking great
