Wolfie's Sponsored Herculean Xtreme Log

Postby wolfie » Thu Nov 12, 2009 6:47 pm

I just received my box tonight from Phenom Labs. I want to thank Justin for this opportunity to try their pre w/o supplement Herculean Xtreme. It's been awhile since I've used a pre w/o so I'm expecting good things! A little about me- I'm 32 years old, been training on and off for 10+ years, I've competed in 2 NPC shows here in Florida, and I'm currently 5'10" tall and 197 lbs. I'm actually looking to keep my strength up while losing somewhere between 5-12 lbs. before Christmas. This should work out great for me. I typically get up at 4:30am during the week and hit the gym right at 5am when they 1st open. The only other supps I'm using will be Lipotropic Protein (Vanilla), Osteobolin-C (joint supp), Fish Oil, and Waxy Maize post w/o with some BCAA's or protein powder. Can't wait to start tomorrow- BACK DAY! Hope you all follow along and feel free to comment or ask questions!

Can't wait NL! Love back day, easily my favorite! Also wanted to mention that Phenom sent some samples of Phenylean Xtreme, their fat burner. I might possibly take those on my cardio only mornings, unless Justin wants me using the Herculean Xtreme at that time also. There are 28 servings of HX, so with me lifting 4 days/week with 2 cardio only days, it could last me anywhere from 4 1/2-6 weeks. What do ya say Justin?

Well, just got back from my 1st w/o with Herculean Xtreme, and let me jump right into my thoughts. 1st- the smell when you open the container is great! For some reason, it reminds me of cotton candy at a fair-don't know why! The taste was good- not too sweet, not strong, just right. I mixed 1 scoop with 8 oz. of water in a shaker cup. Mixed pretty well. There was a little bit left in my shaker cup, so I added another ounce of water and got it all. Waited exactly 15 minutes like it said, and it really did kick in that quick for me. After my 1st set of pullups, I felt a slight pump in my back, bis, and forearms that increased throughout my w/o! No annoying jittery feeling, just consistent smooth energy.
For the w/o- I added 1 rep to my pullup sets, 10 lbs. to my deadlifts, and finished with some t-bar and seated rows. Also did 7 sets for traps, 3 pump sets for bis and felt so good I did a set of 21's also. Finished up with 15 minutes on the Nautilus Stairmaster! They finally fixed it and it whipped me pretty bad!
I won't list my whole w/o but give a few examples unless requested. Just started deadlifting again last month. My last set today was 345 lbs. for 4 reps. I'm slowly getting back to where I left off with them. Pullups I shoot for 3 sets adding up to 25 reps, just me and changing grips each set. The seated rows at the end are to pump as much blood to my back as possible- today 150 lbs. for 25 reps. Total w/o was about an hour cardio and all- 13 sets of back/7 sets of traps/4 sets of bis and 15 min. cardio. I'm hoping the HX continues to impress me! I respond well to this type of pre w/o supp- but I'm hoping I don't build a tolerence to it! Sorry this is long- I'm still pumped up from the w/o!
