JD's HGHup♂ Log Sponsored by Applied Nutriceuticals

Postby jdg76 on Mon Oct 26, 2009 8:54 pm

I want to thank Vitruvian and Applied Nutriceuticals for giving me the chance to test/log HGHup. I believe I should recieve it tomorrow. Very anxiuos to start.

Starting measurements

Right bi.-15" , Left 14 3/4"
Right thigh-22" , Left-22"
Right calve-14 3/4'' , Left 14 1/2
Waist 30 1/2"
Weight 160.6 lbs

I will take some before pics, and after pics if there is a noticable difference. And will post them at the end of my log.

Routine

I plan on running GVT again for this log. I have ran it before, so I will be able to compare my gains and see how well the HGHup helps. My main focus is putting on some size.
The routine will be set up like this, with 60 secs rests between sets.

Quads, hams, and calves
Regular Squats 10x10
Lying leg curls 5x10 (will up the amount of sets as I progress if possible)
Standing calf raises 3x25
Seated calf raises 3x25

Cardio or rest day

Chest and Back
Incline BB 5x10
Flat DB 5x10
BOBBR 10x10
Pullups ??

Cardio or rest day

Bis Tris and Side Delts
Barbell curls 10x10
Dips 10x10
Standing one-arm side laterals 5x20

Next 2 days rest

This will be the routine. I will not set exact days of the week in case I should need and extra days rest or something comes up.
I am going to try to force myself to start doing cardio, even if it's only 10-15 mins.
I modified the routine slightly. On chest day I didn't like doing straight flat bb's. So I added in the incline's so I could hit it from 2 different angle. I will only take 60 secs rest going from the incline to flat bench to start the 5 sets for that excersise. I also noticed last time I felt like I needed more than one day off between chest an shoulders because my front delts would still be a little sore. Hence the reason I am only doing side laterals. I think the front delts will get hit hard enough. I also plan on doing abs a few times a week. Maybe on off days.

Diet

I will be staying around 4200 cals a day. I am going to drop my carbs a little and up my fats. Not a big change.

Other supplements I am taking

All The Whey
IDS Smart Gainer
MHP Dark Matter
Phenom Labs Herculean Extreme
LG Science BC+EAA
Fish oil
Joint support

Hope everyone follows along. Any ideas/suggestions from V or anyone else are welcome.

I actually started GVT yestarday. I will post my w/o to give some starting numbers. I took today off and will go again in the morning.
Also I started with chest and back instead of legs. I wanted to give my knee a few more days to heal before I hit it with all them squats.

Chest and Back

Incline BB
125x10x10x9x6x6

Flat DB
55'sx10x10x9x9x8

BOBBR
115x10 I got ten on all sets but the 9th?? I only got 9 on that set. So I will up the weight next week.

Wide grip Pull-ups
6xBW
6 was enough. I was beat.

Anyways, got real close on all my numbers, so that helps to start out.
Hopefully the product gets here tomorrow and I can get started on it.

Subbed JD. Nice routine you'll be running. I'm really impressed with GVT. Anxious to see if this product helps you add on to that 160.6 lb. frame! :P

Well no HGHup today. I checked with V. He said it should be here tomorrow. I looked up the tracking number and it looked like it had a delayed shipment between there and here for some reason? :x

Anyhow, made it to the gym this morning

Bis, tris and delts

Barbell curls
65 10x10

Dips
BW 10x10

Standing one-arm side laterals
15 3x20
20 2x20

I hit all my numbers today. I honestly thought about just using the bar on the BB curls. Though I struggled with the last couple of sets, is still made it with 65lbs, so I will try 75lbs next week.
I am not real sure about the dips. I may have to swap them for skull crushers. My shoulders got to bothering me about my 6th set ? I don't know if I was going to far down or what. I will try not to go as far down and am going to try weighted dips next week, because I hit all 10 and see how it works.
Also I will start with 20's on the delt work. The 15's, even with high reps felt to easy. Then really had to push it to get the last 20 reps of 20 up.

At least I am getting a base set up for when I start the HGHup.
