Mood/Aggression-very high in the gym today
Stress-pretty low
Libido-getting better
Joints-no change
Endurance- good today
Strength-slight increase
Quality of Training-awesome
Pump and Vascularity-had a pump through my whole arms today, forerms, bis, tris, shoulders
Muscle Hardness/Density- seemed to be tight and full today
Body Composition and Look- no change
Appetite-starting to increase
Overall Sense of Feeling- felt really good today considering sleep. been in a really good mood

As I stated in Rucks log, I didn't sleep well at all last night. Was awake on and off throughout the night. I am very surprised how I feel during the day after these type of nights. Any other time I would be grouchy and very irratable. And I haven't been at all today.

My workout,
Bis tri and side delts

Barbell Curls
75 lbs 10 reps first 6 sets then 9x8x8x8
(last week 65lbs 10x10)

Incline tri ext with ez curl bar
55lbs 8x10 65lbs 10,9

Standing one-arm side laterals
20lbs 5x20

My shoulders bothered me last time I did the dips. I noticed today on my last 2 sets of BB curls my left one was starting to hurt. Almost a burn in between the top part of my front and side delt ? Maybe my form ? I have heard your shoulders can get involved when doing BB curls ? Anyone have any ideas?
Anyway so I switched to the tri exts and they didn't bother me at all.
I stated above my aggresion was very high today. I was about half way through my tris when it was really noticable. I got to doing the side laterals and the last few sets I was almost pissed at the weight. I really don't think I could of finished the sets if I wasn't. My shoulders where so tight and burning I could barely lift them when I was done.
Needless to say I had one hell of a w/o. Even on a sh!tty nights sleep. :o

Going to take the next two days off and hopefully my quads will be recovered to do squats again. :)

jd, could be shoulder tendinitis?? If it continues to get aggravated during bb curls, try subbing that exercise out for another to see if it helps.

Quality of Training-awesome

Front delts get involved especially if you're going heavy and cheating a bit. Might want to do a form check...

Thanks.

Guess it could be either-or. I will pay more attention to my form next time. I never had any problems until I started the higher reps.

Different rep scheme different stresses. Plus if you have a form issue, it's going to be amplified with the higher number of reps. A little tweak over 30 or so reps total, become something nagging over 100...

I told ya! You are more prone than others. Hope he gets better. Nothing worse than seeing your kid sick and you feeling helpless.

How's your shoulder doing?

As some have stated, form is important.

I have learned that when I have a joint flare up, I have to change my routine to give it time to recuperate.

Also are you takeing any thing for your joints?

I had a bad shoulder , but its not bothered me for a while, finally getting to do military presses again.

Listen to your body, when there is pain, something is wrong. You have to decide when to push through or adapt.

Hope your son gets to feeling beter soon, thats a major distraction.

Wolfie, Stoic, Dmac, thanks. We just got back. Good news is he doesn't have the flu. Bad news is the fever is because he has strep throat Agian! We are going in to see the ENT here soon. Going to have his tonsils taken out. So that should help with all his sickness tremendously !

Dmac, actually my shoulder quit hurting not long after my w/o. Switching over from the dips also helped to keep from aggravating it any further. Surprisingly doing the side laterals last yestarday didn't affect it at all. No more aggravation-pain during or after the laterals.

Because of a sick kid, didn't sleep very well last night. When I do sleep it seems to be a pretty heavy deep sleep though.
My appetite seems to be increasing. I am hungary at certain times of the day when I normally am not. For example, a half an hour after eating dinner tonight I could of ate agian? Seems to be happening alot in the evening and early morning.

Pretty wore out tonight, so hopefully my night goes better.

Taking tomorrow off and going to hit legs again Thursday. :D
