Re: Rucksdaddy's HGHup♂™ Log Sponsored by Applied Nutriceuticals

Postby Rucksdaddy on Wed Oct 28, 2009 6:55 am

I will be getting my order today, so the supplements I needed will be coming in. I am not starting my routine until Sunday, but I am going to start HGHup♂™ tomorrow. I want to pre-load for a couple of days to see how I respond with sleep. For some reason I was having trouble sleeping with Cycling GF or products containing ZMA/Mucuna Pruriens. I was using Comatose and stopped it last night, I slept awful. I was wakening up literally every hour. I am going to see if there is a repeat tonight. I thought at first the Comatose was not that good, but I realize that when I was taking it, I was getting tired fairly quickly (I would be falling asleep between 8-8:30), and sleeping straight through the night. I didn't order more, and I don't really want to combine it with HGHup♂™. I am hoping to sleep restfully and straight through on HGHup♂™.

Took awhile to get to sleep last night, but then finally slept through. Getting off Comatose is taking some adjustment.

Started HGHup♂™ this morning, took 2 pills at 5:30 a.m. on an empty stomach. Had coffee with skim milk around 7:00 a.m.. I think starting next week I am going back to true IF, and will not have anything until 11:00 a.m.. This will give me 5-6 hours of fasting after my first dose.

Second dose tonight will come immediately pre-bedtime to give myself as much time as possible between my last meal. Will update tomorrow morning on the sleeping effects.

Curious to see how your respond to the HGHup.

Sounds like something I may try from January when I start my slow cut.

So make sure you do not get sick :P

I need good information.

That's why I am taking the next two days off to fully rest. Finally feeling better, or as good as I will during this time of year.

Took 3 HGHup♂™ last night about 3 hours after I ate. That is about the furthest I can spread the dose out, it's more likely going to be closer to 2-2.5 hours normally. Slept straight through the night, but woke up around 4:30 a.m. That's about an hour before my alarm, but I did wake up refreshed, not groggy, so that is a good sign.

Took 2 HGHup♂™ this morning, will see how the day goes. Oddly enough I was more awake than usual yesterday, so hopefully that's a side effect. Will post for the next couple days on sleeping. Sunday back to the gym and then I will give more in depth analysis.

Took my dose last night pre-bedtime. Had a hard time falling asleep, then kept waking up the whole night. I chose to let my dog sleep in the bed, which didn't help because the b*tch dreams and kicks me. But I kept waking up otherwise as well. Back to the gym tomorrow, so will see how I sleep tonight and feel tomorrow.

One other thing I notice about taking the HGHup in the morning is that I take it, about 30 minutes later I get a little nauseous, then it passes after about 10 minutes or so. JD or CW, do you get that at all?

Sleep Time and Quality - Poor
Mental Alertness/Focus - Good
Energy - On and off
Motivation - Building back up

Muscle Hardness/Density - N/A
Body Composition and Look -N/A
Appetite - Surprisingly has gone down
Overall Sense of Feeling - Good, just need to work on getting my sleep pattern straightened out

No stomach issues here Rucks. At first it just made me really tired and now it just makes me really jittery. Those have been the only side effects so far. No trouble falling asleep either. It seems from reading other logs that this stuff is affecting everyone a little differently while our bodies are getting used to it.
The thing is, Bob, it's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.

I haven't noticed it making me nausious either. But I take it first thing when I wake up and then withing 20 mins. I take a serving of BC+EAA's and my preworkout drink. That may be what makes the difference. You may try taking it with some Eaa's and see if that helps?

No because I take it before I go to work with my other supps. Not a huge deal, I just thought it was odd. I take it at night and I am fine. I have a sensitive stomach I guess.

Today was a fantastic workout, tore it up in the gym. Started my new program, so it was all drop sets. It's almost like the past 2 weeks of sickness never existed. I was motivated and pushed hard in the gym. My strength shot back up too, I underestimated where I thought I would be. I don't know if it was the two days off or if it was the pould of filet mignon I had last night, but damn it was on today. Pump was very good today. I knew it would be increased with the drop sets but wasn't sure if the Plazmosis would be reduced because of the caffeine. It appeared not to be, but I will know more during the week.

Took HGHup last night right at bedtime, slept straight through the night, but still woke up at 5 a.m. Not sure if that was the HGHup, the alcohol (I only had 3 beers) or the daylight savings change and my body expected to be up at that time. I woke up refreshed and ready to go, so it's not a bad thing. If it was the HGHup, I would rather sleep straight through and wake up early than wake up randomly during the night. Took HGH at 5:30, then the rest of my pre-workout supplements at 6:15 (Cytodyne AAC, TE, Cordygen VO2 Ultra, Super PS, Caffeine, Plazmosis). I read recently in an article (I will post it if I can find it) that up to 200mg's of caffeine is the cutoff point before it causes blood flow restriction.

After the workout, had Smartgainer with 16oz skim milk, followed up later on with a whole week bagel with fat free cream cheese, light OJ, and (4) organic eggs.

Sleep Time and Quality - Very good
Mental Alertness/Focus - Very good
Energy - Good
Motivation - Excellent
Mood/Aggression - Excellent
Stress - Low
Libido - Low, but coming back
Joints - Good
Endurance - Very good
Strength - Very good
Quality of Training - Excellent
Pump and Vascularity - Very good
Muscle Hardness/Density - Very good
Body Composition and Look -N/A
Appetite - Increased
Overall Sense of Feeling - Good.

Awesome Rucks. It's nice to see you had a good w/o. It sounded like it had been tough there for awhile. How much of it do you think you could attribute to the HGHup ? I can deffinately tell it has started to work for me. The mood, energy, motivation etc. is getting better by the day. Ready to see what happens the next few weeks. :D

It's only been a few days, so we will see what happens. The rest of the day I have been tired, but it happens every Sunday. That was the best I have felt for a workout in awhile.
