Rucksdaddy's HGHup♂™ Log Sponsored by Applied Nutriceuticals

Postby Rucksdaddy on Mon Oct 26, 2009 6:13 pm

Thanks to Vitruvian and Applied Nutriceuticals, received the HGHup♂™ today. The log will start either Friday or Saturday. I am waiting on some other supplements to come in, as well as possibly getting some blood work done.

Dosing:

2 capsules upon waking, empty stomach
3 capsules immediately before bed

Here the claims made by AP on HGHup♂™ , and how I will address each one -

Things to Focus On:

Strength increases - Weight increase on each exercise.
Mind/Muscle Connection/Focus/Cognition - Pay more attention to form.
Fat loss - Waist measurement and weight loss
Lean body mass gain - Measurement of bodyparts
Aggression - Motivation and intensity in the gym
Better sleep - Compare to Cyclin GF and Comatose
Overall "good" feeling - Am I sticking to the schedule and not missing workouts.
Better skin tone/harder, tighter look - This is just g*y.

Two things I am going to do:

1. I am stopping all recovery supplements. This means I will no longer be using Dark Matter, Evolution X10, Glutamine, or First Order. I want to test the product fully.

2. I am going to continue with my pct. Right now this includes Androtest and 6-Oxo Extreme. I will be on this part of the HGHup cycle, then I will bridge into Hypertest. I am doing this purposely to see if there is a synergistic effect resulting in higher testosterone levels. I do not believe this will work as well as stacking with an anabolic, but this is as close as I will come right now.

What I am not going to do:

1. Completely change my routine - Although I am starting a new routine, it was time to change regardless of doing HGH. I had my sights set on keeping the reps high (which I already began). I was contemplating adding in drop sets anyways, so this just make the decision easier. It will be a high rep set followed by a 50% reduction in weight for a "pump" set. Higher reps make more sense for HGH production. Rest periods will be kept short as well.

2. Completely change my diet - I think logs have a way of exaggerating the positive effects of a supplement because when one is being watched, one tends to put more effort in overall. Subconsciously I do it somewhat as well, which is why I am not going to change it at this point. I know I might eat somewhat healthier if I know I have to post what I am eating, but I am staying with Intermittant Fasting at this point and will try not to stray from what I normally do. IF makes more sense with an HGH product as well.

Hold....

Here is some reasoning for structuring my workouts based on high reps and short rest periods, which will help maximize HGHup♂™ :

High Reps:

Finnish researchers reported in the Journal of Applied Physiology that when subjects performed 10 sets of 10 reps, their GH levels were significantly higher than when they performed 20 sets of 1 rep. These results were later confirmed by the College of New Jersey (Ewing) researchers. They found that when trained male athletes performed weight workouts using 15-rep sets, they experienced higher GH levels than when they performed a similar workout using 4-rep sets

Short Rest:

Researchers from the U.S. Army Research Institute of Enfironmental Medicine (Natick, Massachusetts) reported in the Journal of Applied Phsiology that weight workouts utilizing one minute rest periods between sets raised GH levels significantly higher than weight workouts using three minute rest priods between sets. Scientists from the University of Brasilia, Brazil, reported in a 2009 issue of the Journal of Science and Medicine in Sport that when trained subjects rested just 30 seconds between sets during a workout, they experienced a 50% greater rise in GH than when they rested one or two minutes between sets.

Here is how my schedule and supplementing will look for November:

Sunday - Back/Shoulders, X-Stretch (optional)
Monday - P90X (workouts will rotate)
Tuesday - Legs/Calves
Wednesday - Ab Ripper X, X-Stretch
Thursday - Chest/Arms
Friday - P90X (workouts will rotate) or Off depending on how I am feeling
Saturday - Off or X-Stretch

Morning:

(2) HGHup♂™
(3) Androtest Extreme - Monday - Friday
(1) Super PS (until completion of PCT)
(1) 200mg Caffeine Pill

Afternoon:

(3) Androtest Extreme - Monday - Friday
(1) Super PS

Pre-Workout:

(3) Cytodyne AAC
(3) Cordygen VO2 Ultra
(2) Plazmosis

Post Workout:

(3) Cytodyne AAC

Post Workout Meal:

(4) 6-Oxo Extreme (until completion of PCT)

Bedtime:

(3) HGHup♂™
(4) Hypertest (upon completion of Androtest Extreme)

I certainly hope this was a typo! What kind of product is this?? I'm subbed Rucks. Just caught me off guard 1st thing this morning to know you'd be eating healthier people while on this!

I have been eating dwarfs, I mean "little people." My appetite has increased so now I am moving up to eating full size persons. 8)
