Oats

Do you guys add anything to oats to give them a better taste? I usually do brown sugar but it's probably not the healthiest to eat.....

I rarely eat cooked oats. I just grind them up and put them in my protein shakes.

Agreed...dried apples are my fave. Currants are good, too. Dates are even better.

Good quality cocoa powder,

A few vanilla pods split then placed in your tub of oats, leave for a week or so (turning every few days) to allow the natural vanilla flavour ooze out into the oats,

Cinnamon, nutmeg

yeah fruits seem to be the only way to sweeten the oats without having to add a butt load of sugar.

Not familiar with this measurement, please elaborate :P

I asked girlfriend, although she was very familiar with the saying (and feeling), she could not confirm actual weight or volume. 8)
