Steven, if you had to pick, what are 2 or 3 of your favorite training routines out of these?

Oh nice tough question :D

I couldn`t call them "favourites in the sense of "ooh my favourite ice cream is" I think I would have to best describe them as having the most impact on my training.

So here goes...and other members feel free to chip in with your own choices.....

The ISP series, simply on the basis of how it shows in such a simply but brutal way how ineffective so many training programs pimped out there (think great guns in 5 minutes) are & leaves so many constantly searching for ways to correct imbalances a lot of programs bring to the trainee. Having trained for over 20 years & been a competitive body-builder I know all about "imbalances" & the ISP series has not only highlighted that BUT given me a simple honest way of finally correcting those imbalances.

And it is a workout you can do for free, so no need for fancy overly expensive gym memberships

Next up I would say the squat-power series, I followed these through right to the end & came to the conclusion that my overall GPP was garbage. It was a tough series to do which teaches you a lot about yourself & what your body is capable off, the whole series is just laid out there for you to follow & slowly but surely bring your bodies recovery capabilities up to what a true athletes should be.

After those I started on the "Mad Science" programs, events happened which meant I couldn`t complete the series  BUT the goal is to re-start when all is ready, progress through the 8 levels, beast "Zenith" & master "Xanadu"

Hope that answers your question :D

Thanks Steven- Yes, this is helpful. Ultimately, I'd like to read ALL of these articles. However, time being short, this helps narrow the field a bit. I think I'm going to check out the squat-power series first.

P.S. On a unrelated note- Perhaps someday you can tell me what your favorite 2 or 3 BBC televison series are :) I'm a certifiable "Anglo-file" (is that the right term?) when it comes to T.V. I literally haven't watched a single minute of America televison in about 5 years. Why do you folks do it so much better?

At the moment we are not tied up with trying to meet every single quota of every race or opinion on the planet whilst pussy footing around trying not to offend anyone, unlike what seems to happen in American programs.

Then again that is bound to change

As for favourites, that`s difficult, it would depend on now or past programs.

Not sure that exactly accounts for the difference in quality.

P.S. Does this mean you identify with Combo from "This is England"? :)

I just went through my collection last night, would you believe I do not have the Mad Science series?
How can I call myself a Renegade now? I am a fraud!
Even more depressing is somehow my "no walk in the park" dvd grew feet.

We shall not talk of "items" growing feet & walking, lost count of the number of magazines, DVD`s & videos that have gone walkies over the years
